Performing ancient village Xoan singing at cultural relic sites
From April 14 to 18 (ie March 6-10 in the Year of the Dragon), Viet Tri City Culture - Sports and Tourism Center in coordination with communes: Phuong Lau, Kim Duc, Hung Lo organizes the program performing ancient village Xoan singing at cultural relics: An Thai Communal House, Lai Len Temple, Thet Communal House, Hung Lo Communal House to serve tourists attending the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week in the year of the Dragon 2024.
Tourists coming to cultural relic sites will hear artisans of the original Xoan wards such as: Phu Duc, Kim Doi, Thet, An Thai introduce basic information about Xoan singing from: Origin of Xoan singing, singing stages in Xoan, enjoy smooth ancient Xoan melodies such as: Nhap tich moi Vua, Don dao, Bo ho, Trong Quan, Mo Ca... Visitors can participate in the experience of Xoan Singing with artisans during the festival stage.
Through the ancient village Xoan singing performance program, it contributes to introducing and promoting Xoan singing - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity to tourists from all regions of the country and international friends; Encourage people and artisans in the original Xoan wards to continue preserving, protecting, and teaching Xoan singing to further promote the noble values of this unique art form.
