In the new development landscape, Phu Tho province boasts a rich tourism ecosystem, combining premium resort experiences, community-based tourism, and nature exploration.
PriorBay – Ngoi Hoa Ecotourism site (Muong Hoa commune) has emerged as a new destination by Hoa Binh Lake, quickly becoming a “rising star” on the tourism map.
Located just over 100 km from Hanoi, PriorBay offers a unique identity with high-quality resort products and cultural experiences. Visitors can enjoy family and group vacations that blend lakeside recreation with sports tourism.
The site features 5-star hotels with modern rooms and apartments, interspersed with boutique resorts and bungalows, along with diverse amenities. A highlight at PriorBay Resort is the 210-meter Rainbow Slide—the longest in Southeast Asia, which is drawing large numbers of visitors during the National Day holiday.
Other high-end resorts such as Avana Retreat (Mai Chau) and Serena Kim Boi are also popular choices. For budget-friendly travel, Na Bo hamlet (Hop Kim commune) remains a reasonable choice for families looking to immerse themselves in Muong culture and enjoy local cuisine.
In Vinh Phuc, Tam Dao continues to captivate tourists, transforming into a “festival town” with a series of cultural and street music events. Dai Lai, with its world-class Flamingo Resort, offers families a variety of lakefront leisure and wellness experiences.
Long Coc Tea Hills are another popular attraction, drawing visitors eager to experience the lush, green landscape.
At the heart of the ancestral land, Phu Tho welcomes large numbers of tourists to well-known sites, such as Ngoc Xanh Island, Vuon Vua Resort, and Thanh Thuy hot mineral springs. According to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Phu Tho, the province has more than 1,500 accommodation facilities, including numerous community homestays in Xuan Son, Long Coc, and Hung Lo, offering options for every budget.
Phu Tho has required localities, tourist sites, and service providers to ensure a safe, civilized, and friendly tourism environment; diversify products; improve service quality; and pay special attention to security, safety, environmental hygiene, and food safety.
Authorities strictly enforce regulations on pricing, registration, and public listing to prevent arbitrary price increases, solicitation, or coercion that could harm the province’s tourism image. At the same time, Phu Tho is stepping up promotion efforts, creating gratitude tours and “back-to-the-roots” journeys to offer visitors meaningful experiences rich in the cultural and historical identity of the ancestral land.
To welcome more than 14.5 million visitors in 2025, including 4.5 million overnight stays, Phu Tho is implementing multiple solutions to ensure the best possible experiences for tourists.
