Phu Tho Medical College transforms on the momentum of international integration

In the spirit of determination, innovation and creativity, Phu Tho Medical College has continuously improved training quality and aimed towards international integration.

On September 13, 2023, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee issued Decision 1936/QD-UBND on reorganizing Phu Tho Medical College from under the Department of Health to under the  Provincial People's Committee. The province's attention has brought many opportunities, creating momentum to help the college have strong development steps in the future.

Over the years, Phu Tho Medical College has affirmed its reputation and received the trust of parents, students and trainees. In 2023, the college enrolls many regular, transfer, short-term and long-term students with 9 major codes: General medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, midwifery, nutrition, traditional medicine physician. In particular, for full-time students, the college has applied tuition exemption and reduction policies and support policies prescribed by the state, with 5 major codes: General medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology and midwifery which are received a 70% tuition discount.

Currently, the college has been promoting cooperation with many prestigious universities such as: University of Public Health, Phenikaa University, Hai Phong Medical University, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy to organize undergraduate and postgraduate training classes... In addition, with the goal of international integration, the college has strengthened cooperation agreements with partners such as: Work Support Y Human Resources Joint Stock Company (belongs to JaLa Group Japan), BLA Education Group Joint Stock Company of Germany, Hanoi - Korea Trade and Study abroad Company, Korean INC Network co., Ltd., Viaserco Study abroad Consulting Center... In particular, the cooperation between Phu Tho Medical College and Work Support Y Human Resources Joint Stock Company (belongs to JaLa Group Japan) as well as with BLA Education Group (Vietnam) has opened up training opportunities for students about foreign languages, looking for jobs in Japan and Germany.

Accordingly, students who have graduated from college level with a major in nursing can register to study working training programs in Japan such as: Nursing program, Caregiver program… When participating in these programs, students are exempted from all Japanese language tuition fees sponsored by JaLa Group and are assigned jobs suitable to their expertise at general hospitals (salary from 60 million VND per month or more), Japanese Nursing Hospital (salary from 37 million VND to 46 million VND per month) with working time from 3 to 5 years.

For the graduation internship program, third-year students studying at the school can participate in internships at institutes of the JALA group mainly in Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama prefectures. Thereby, helping students have access to a new, modern, clean environment, enhancing communication skills and cultivating professional capacity. In particular, during the 6-month internship, students will receive a supported salary of 180 thousand Japanese Yen per month. After deducting insurance, housing, electricity, water and living expenses, students can save 60 thousand to 70 thousand Japanese Yen per month.

For the human resources training program to work in Germany, students who have graduated from college level majoring in nursing can register for the Nursing Degree Conversion Program. Accordingly, students will enjoy benefits such as: Being able to study missing modules right at their working place or using online methods to ensure no additional travel expenses incurred during additional study.  The remuneration regime for employees is similar to that of a German citizen such as: 100% free healthcare, free education from preschool to university and post-graduate, being settled permanently after 2 years of working with a stable salary and welcomed family reunion in Germany.

Based on the cooperation program between Phu Tho Medical College and BLA Education Group (Vietnam), students after graduating from high school with B1 German level can register to participate in study abroad programs of nursing or hotel and restaurant profession with a vocational training period of 3 years. Students will receive a supported salary of 20 million VND per month immediately after arriving in Germany. At the same time, parents with children studying and working in Germany can also register for a family visit program, allowing them to stay in Germany for a maximum of 3 months and travel to all Schengen countries.
