A training course for young leaders of border provinces of Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia wrapped up in Vientiane on July 14.

At the closing ceremony
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Sisay Leudetmounsone, Politburo member and Head of the Organisation Commission of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, congratulated the trainees on successfully completing the programme.
She emphasised the necessity of further building and strengthening cooperative relations between the three Parties and countries, thus bringing practical benefits to all parties and the peoples of the three nations while fostering peace, friendship, and development cooperation in the region and worldwide.
Taking place from July 7 to 15, the training course attracted the participation of 47 trainees who are young leaders from border provinces of Laos, Viet Nam and Cambodia.
Throughout the programme, participants shared experiences related to the socio-economic development strategies of their respective Parties and countries. They also took part in field visits to notable historical and production sites in Vientiane, including the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum, That Luang Buddhist Stupa, the Lao People’s Army Museum, and the Lao Star Telecommunications Company.
